The official Congress language will be English however South Africa’s Constitution recognises 11 official languages:

Setswana
siSwati
Tshivenda
Xitsonga
Afrikaans
English
isiNdebele
isiXhosa
isiZulu.
For centuries South Africa’s official languages were European – Dutch, English, Afrikaans.
